Low tide

I decided to make a resolution this past new years, to get down to the seawall once a week. Since we got Minnie, that impeded my free time a bit, so I haven't really kept it (out of the last 3 weeks I went once). But! I did get down there today.
I live next to the ocean, and I haven't been taking advantage of that as I should. I'm not going to be here forever, and I know I will miss it when I'm gone.

Today I walked the bit (8.8 km worth!) that goes around Stanley Park.

  1. Great photos! Probably going to be a silly question, but does Vancouver get a lot of snow in the winter? Or is it more just rain? I've never been out west before, but I know I need to go!

  2. Thank you! :)
And not a silly question at all. We don't get a lot of snow, though for the 3 winters I've been here there has been at least one pretty good snowfall each year (the first year out here there was TONS, which I loved but the city practically shut down).

  3. One snowfall a season isn't too bad...we've got piles of it here at the moment in Ontario!

  5. Thanks Marcy! :)

And the ocean's not so bad...swimming in it can definitely be a little scary sometimes though!
