Tea, poached eggs on toast and last week's Coronation Street queued up.
Today's eggs were a little special, as they came from a duck! I recently signed up for a weekly produce box (with eggs bi-weekly) and the first delivery came with 3 free duck eggs to try. They tasted the same to me, but had bigger yolks (yum) and way thicker shells. I don't know if it's noticeable in the picture, but they were at least twice as thick. A beautiful colour too - the faintest hint of turquoise.
